A proven firm with a bright future

GACE Consulting Engineers DPC is an award-winning structural engineering firm founded in 1979. Our portfolio extends nationally and internationally, with a considerable number of projects concentrated in the local tri-state area. Our decades of success can be attributed to the firm's studio structure, which fosters creativity and growth in our new engineers, while maintaining the strict standards of design excellence which have become our hallmark.

COMMUNITY

At GACE, we believe in contributing to our community and making a positive impact in the lives of others. Here are a few of the ways we get involved:

ACE MENTORING
Since 2007, GACE has participated in the ACE Mentor Program as part of a team of Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, and others in a year-long introduction to the construction industry for promising high school students. Through projects and field trips, these students are given an overview of opportunities available within the industry. A final architectural project and presentation culminates the design process, seen from different viewpoints, and the collaboration of the team integrates what they learn, following it through to an end result.

CANSTRUCTION
Since 2001, GACE employees have been participating in Canstruction, an annual design/build competition which benefits City Harvest of New York. Created by the Society of Design Administration, this competition involves the construction of whimsical structures built entirely of canned food items. Upon "de-can-struction" the cans are donated, and the food is distributed to food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in NYC.
